Rules & regulations

Guidelines for families and funeral homes so that every burial at Al-Maghfirah is carried out smoothly, on time and with the dignity it deserves.

These guidelines will be finalized and published in full before burials begin. If you have a question that is not answered here, please contact us directly.

Funeral scheduling

  • For same-day burials, please notify us by 11:30 AM to allow sufficient time for preparation.
  • Burial arrangements requested after this time may need to be scheduled for the next day, depending on availability.
  • We encourage early communication to ensure a smooth and respectful burial process.

Facilities

  • Men’s prayer area — Janazah Salah arrangements should be made in advance.
  • Women’s prayer area.
  • Mortuary (ghusl) services — available with a nominal fee to assist with preparation and care.
  • Restroom facilities accessible for both men and women.
  • Administrative office to assist with necessary paperwork and guidance.

Burial conduct

  • Funeral directors and families are kindly requested to arrive on time and respect scheduled burial times.
  • All burials must be completed by 4:00 PM.
  • We ask that all visitors maintain a respectful and peaceful environment on cemetery grounds.

Cancellations

  • If a scheduled burial must be cancelled after preparations have begun, please inform us as soon as possible.

Equipment & belongings

  • Families and funeral homes are responsible for any personal equipment brought to the cemetery.
  • Al-Maghfirah Cemetery cannot assume liability for items left on the grounds and kindly requests that all belongings be removed after services.
