Contract signed and Phase Two campaign launched for the Masjid & Ghusl Center
Al-Maghfirah signed the construction contract for its Masjid & Ghusl Center in July 2026 and opened a LaunchGood campaign, with masjids and ulama across Minnesota lending support.
In July 2026 the Al Maghfirah Cemetery Association signed the construction contract for Phase Two: the Masjid & Ghusl Center that will let the cemetery open its gates to families. In August the association opened a campaign on LaunchGood to help fund it.
Support has come from across the community. Masjid Da’wah joined a growing number of Minnesota mosques backing the project, and imams and scholars, among them Shaykh Hassan Jaamici, Dr. Waliid, Shaykh Hassan Salah, Shaykh Abdullahi Bihi and Shaykh Mohamed, recorded messages urging Muslims to take part in this sadaqah jariyah.
